![]() Here are the last few photos from the tournament. The boys had one hand on the Cup when they scored with 7 minutes to go in the final, but after only conceding one goal in 420 minutes at the tournament, they leaked 3 goals in 5 minutes due to a mental lapse when they received a very dodgy decision to gift the Japanese a penalty goal. Although we felt hard done by, we still should have composed ourselves and ground out the win. A heartbreaking loss like that will build character and many lessons have been learned. Other than that crazy 5 minutes in the final, the tour was an absolute success with countless fantastic memories, a ton of experience gained for the boys, and our Club and Academy have been recognised and approached by some big English Clubs to build long-term relationships. We are delighted to announce that two of our boys have also been approached by one of England's biggest Clubs. This is a credit to all the hard work put in by all of the boys and coaching staff. Congratulations to everyone involved. Finally, we would like to thank everyone who contributed to making this tour become a reality, and those who supported us during the journey. Dozens of kind people were involved with the fundraising, our fantastic Club got right behind all of our initiatives, the supporters back home flocked to our page and pumped up the boys from the other side of the world, and we even developed a loyal following of supporters in the UK. We can't wait to do it all again! |
